Preview track.
The preview track cuts two ways..........the lead singer of The Stereophonics is a Leeds fan and "Maybe tomorrow" we will finally convert a reasonable % of our chances and annihilate Walsall 6 or 7 nil. I am sure that the patient passing game that Macca has introduced will one day soon result in an absolute demolition of an unsuspecting team at ER, but only if the sharp shooting of most of the team, excluding Becchio, improves drastically.
The draw for the 1st Round of the FA Cup takes place tomorrow and for the second year running we will be pitched into the hat with the non league teams seeking glory. It's difficult to know what to hope for in terms of teams.........I suppose the best thing is to get through to the 3rd Round and then at least we can relax.
Spurs seem to have taken over the bar code's mantel of the Joke side of the Premier League as they are anchored to the bottom with only a miserly 2 points to show for their seasons efforts. With significant justification there won't be much sympathy from Leeds fans for the other Lilywhites after there keenness to plunder our resources over the past few seasons. To me it is a classic tale of lack of stability as the board have flitted from one manager to another with alarming regularity in the last three years and it is likely they will continue that record by dispatching with Ramos' services before the Xmas turkey is served.
Back to Elland Road and I am hoping that we can build on Tuesday's win against an improving Walsall side to cement our position at the higher echelons of the table. We will have The Quiet One back with us again tomorrow to add to the vocal support from the Kop. Team wise I hope Robbo is on from the start and we have right go at them for the full ninety minutes. After that dare I hope for a clean sheet?
