London calling..............again!

Apologies for not posting after the heroic Arsenal game but after getting home at 2.15am Tuesday and being up  at 6am for work proved too much for me!  Suffice to say that a good time was had by all despite Mr Henry's inevitable winner.  The atmosphere in the Drayton Park pub before the game was something special even for Leeds fans whilst in the ground the polite atmosphere of the Emirates library was suitably disturbed by the raucous mighty white fans.  ESPN's bizarre decision to site their "studio" for presenting the programme right in front of the away fans at the side of the pitch backfired spectacularly as first the Leeds players targeted them with their warm up balls and then Mr Savage and Mr Keown were drawn into "discussions" with the adjacent Leeds fans.  I didn't think Martin Keown's tactic of offering vociferous Leeds fans out in between his piece's to camera was the most professional thing to do, whilst the famous ice dancer, Robbie Savage, objected to the verbal abuse he was getting during his incisive comments on the game.  His post match accusation that Leeds fans are animals and they all threw their  hot dogs at him and the blond bimbo presenter was totally incorrect.  I had a cheeseburger for one!  The final ignominy for the erstwhile pundits was when they had to beg steal and borrow a mini seat as they took their place with the photographers squat at the side of the goal as the game started.  Class!

So again we head for the smoke for the clash with Palace  hoping that their hangover from their Carling Cup clash is bigger than ours.  I have a feeling this trip to London will be more successful than Monday's? Even with our new signing, Roy Rogers on tow!  If Lees and O'Dea defend as stoutly as they did at the Emirates and Snoddy returns to action I've a feeling we will return with a 2.1 victory.  Bring it on.
Can't wait.
